EOS at DRM: Building a Stronger Foundation
EOS at DRM: Building a Stronger Foundation
At DRM, the commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients starts with how we operate internally. That’s why our team recently came together to officially roll out EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System, across the company.
When you walk through the doors at DRM, it’s clear that something different is happening. The team’s passion, grit, and technical talent are on full display, but behind the scenes, leadership is just as focused on making sure the business is running as smartly and effectively as the systems they design. That mindset recently culminated in a powerful moment: a full-team rollout of DRM’s implementation of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
This internal initiative wasn’t about changing who DRM is; it was about giving structure to the very strengths that have made the company a trusted partner in automation and OEM system delivery for decades. The EOS framework helps leadership and team members stay focused on the right goals at the right times, with clear roles, expectations, and accountability built in.
“We’re proud of who we are and how we operate, but we’re never content to coast,” said Barry Brian, Partner at DRM. “EOS is helping us bring clarity to that drive and build a company that’s even stronger for the long haul.”
A Shared Vision for the Future
At the heart of the recent event was alignment. Held in DRM’s own shop, the rollout brought together teammates across departments to learn about the company’s vision, core values, and the shared roadmap ahead. From the front-line to operations, every teammate was invited into the bigger picture.
“We talked about where we’re going as a company, what roles need to be filled, and how we can help each other thrive,” said Colt Burns, Controls Engineer at DRM. “That transparency is huge.”
EOS gives structure to many things DRM was already doing well: valuing long-term relationships, delivering seamless integration from power to process, and showing up with a “can-do” attitude, especially when projects get tough. The event formalized that excellence and tied it directly to shared company goals like year-over-year growth, expanded training, and stronger internal processes.
Building on Strength
This isn’t a story about fixing what’s broken. It’s about reinforcing what’s already working, and making it more scalable. DRM’s leadership believes deeply in the company’s culture of commitment and excellence. EOS simply helps make sure that clarity and consistency can carry forward as the company grows.
One example: roles like Facilitators and Team Leaders are now being defined more precisely, so teammates know exactly what’s expected and how success will be measured. This enables every department to operate at a high level, independently and together.
“We’ve always had high standards,” said Jeff Marston, Partner at DRM. “EOS helps us deliver on those standards with greater consistency, which is critical when you’re working on complex, time-sensitive projects.”
Why EOS Matters for Clients
So what does all this mean for DRM’s customers? In short: a better partner. A more aligned team delivers more reliable outcomes. With EOS in place, every DRM teammate, from design engineers to installers, understands how their day-to-day actions roll up into broader goals like hitting deadlines, staying on budget, and exceeding expectations.
That’s why the company’s three uniques: seamless integration, elite partnerships, and a can-do culture aren’t just marketing terms. They’re strategic pillars that are actively supported, measured, and refined every quarter. As a result, clients get a partner who shows up with clarity, accountability, and a plan.
A Culture That Grows With Its People
The event served as a reminder of how much pride people take in being part of the DRM team. Whether you’re wiring up panels or leading cross-functional installations, everyone has a role to play, and EOS makes sure that role is defined, respected, and supported.
“EOS gives us a consistent rhythm for staying on track and solving problems early,” said Audric Crouch, Business Development at DRM. “It’s not about more meetings. It’s about making every conversation count.”
A Rollout Rooted in Team Culture
The recent rollout meeting wasn’t a top-down presentation; it was a company-wide effort to bring everyone into the process. DRM’s leadership emphasized transparency, open communication, and collective ownership. This included:
- Introducing key EOS components like the Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO), accountability charts, and quarterly “Rocks” (high-impact goals)
- Clarifying roles and responsibilities across departments, including newly defined Facilitator roles that ensure cross-functional alignment
- Reinforcing values through real conversations about what’s working, what needs attention, and how each team member contributes to the bigger picture
“We’ve always had a strong culture and a smart, capable team. EOS is giving us a way to keep that foundation strong while creating more focus and follow-through as we grow,” said Barry Brian, Partner at DRM.
A Foundation That Powers Progress
At DRM, technical excellence is only part of the story. What sets the company apart is how deliberately it supports its people and processes behind the scenes—ensuring every project, no matter how complex, is delivered with care, clarity, and confidence. With EOS now part of the operational backbone, clients can trust that the same rigor applied to engineering is applied to planning, execution, and team alignment.
Whether you’ve partnered with DRM for years or are just getting to know the team, the goal remains the same: show up, follow through, and take pride in the work. If you’re curious how DRM approaches projects like yours, we would love to have a conversation.
